Hey Tariq, I am a great fan of your writing, but this time to be honest, i felt you could have explained the SaaS concept a bit more, it would have definitely helped. I am also doing a bit of research on a few IT companies which are enabling other industries eg KPIT Tech, TATA Elxsi, etc. Can you guide me with where to find research material. Thanks a ton. PS: Sent a p.m. on Twitter
SaaS just means software as a service. I am not sure about KPIT Tech or Tata Elxsi, they both aren't pure SaaS firms and work on old contract model in emerging tech space.
I am not sure what you mean by research material. The best to start researching any company is its website, investor presentation, Concalls and annual reports.
Thank you. SaaS as a concept you can refer to YouTube or Google, various videos on it. For research, you may check out any SaaS based US company. Atlassian, CrowdStrike are good places to start researching if you want to deep dive into a SaaS model.

Very well put together. Can you please share some of the reference material or sth of that sort if someone wants to delve deep into the SaaS?
