Hi Tar,

I have already researched CMS and my notes are a bit scattered. However, your article is exceptionally well-organized and articulate, covering all the finer nuances of CMS. I can visualize the hard work you have put into this. I've been silently following your posts for a while. Thanks and great job, Chief!

Digitalization (terminal value) and Promoter selling overhang, will keep this stock in check. However, in India, Cash is still King (picture politicians enticing voters with UPI during election time and leaving a trace). With a competent management team overseeing efficient businesses, there is a tendency to explore new and exciting ventures and continually discover ways to generate income. Nonetheless, like the youngest child, this stock requires careful monitoring.

Thank you. This is helpful. Agree that it is a good company. But all the existing and new businesses verticals are completely in and around cash management. This is still holding me back from the last two years.

Hey Tar, Great Work with the Research. More Colour on growth of Remote Monitoring Services would be nice.

At 100 Cr, it might be while before it contributes meaningfully to the overall Revenues, depending on how fast this grows.

And Since much of the thesis is incumbent on this playing off sooner than later, this section of the write up could've been more detailed.

Regardless, really loved the effort you put into these reports. Thanks so much !

Thank you Rahul, appreciate the feedback

Remote Monitoring is just one part of the thesis. It's a fairly new business and other than their revenue run rate they haven't provided a lot of details.

If you look at the competitors in this segment, there are mainly two - both are standalone single offering companies.

CMS playbook has always been to buy a new capability for cheap (in this case they bought a remote monitoring company), leverage existing relationships with banks - in remote monitoring case it's SBI, and rapidly scale up the business.

They have given a TAM of 3000cr for remote monitoring and envision to apply this beyond banking and ATMs - in case of gold loan companies, NBFCs etc.

The main thesis is that the business is undergoing rapid scale up in bottom line due to operating leverage.
