So far, a user had to navigate to various portals to access these services. This wasn’t an ideal set up and led to a lot of friction along with a bad user experience.

To fix the above, we have now consolidated all of services within the TheWrap🌯 subscription to a single portal.

In the above portal, you can access everything that TheWrap has to offer - from weekly reports to data tools to weekend meet recordings, courses and even a community.

If you’re an existing Wrap subscriber, your account is already migrated and set up. To login, please reset your password using the forgot password option at the portal.

Below is a quick video walkthrough of the entire portal.

In the coming week, we will turn off the existing portals and completely migrate to the new portal. So please ensure to login to the new portal at the earliest convenience.

Answering some FAQs related to this migration.

Q. Can I sign up on a trial basis?
A. Yes, you can sign up for a one month trial on the new portal.

Q. I am a monthly subscriber, will I continue to be automatically charged?
A. No, we have already paused billing via substack and have migrated your account to the new portal. Upon expiry of your current month validity, you will have option to pay for yearly or 3 year plans.

Q. What will happen to Discord community?
A. At this point we are keeping the community alive and will try to integrate it within the new portal in addition to the already existing community on the portal.

Q. Can I ignore and remove old links and only bookmark the new portal?
A. Yes, the new portal is already active and has all parts of the wrap available.

Q. When will you turn off the old links?
A. The old links will be turned off starting 26th April 2024.

Q. Can I change my email address?
A. Please reach out to us at help@investkaroindia.in

Q. Can I upgrade my plan to 3 year plan?
A. You can buy additional 3 year plan. At the payment page in new portal, please choose the start date of the plan as the date when your current plan expires.

Q. Will I continue to get weekly emails?
A. Yes, all existing processes remain as is. The email will come from the new portal instead of here on substack.

Q. I have friends who want to sign up, whats the payment page?
A. Its available on the new portal itself, please direct them to it.

Macro jitters, IT index takes a beating, Earnings continue to roll in

The top focus for the market this past week was the war in Middle East. Amid the chaos, Indian markets performed relatively well and showcased resilience.

Most of the market indices ended the week in positive, with minor losses on the others. IT Index however took a beating and ended the week with a negative return of 4.36%. Soft commentary from Infosys and weak topline growth in line with results of TCS from last week were the culprit. The pain for IT service companies will last a couple more quarters as demand in the North American market remains weak.

Now, compare this to performance by US market. All major indices of the mother market were down with Nasdaq 100 index ending the week at 5.86%.

The poster child of rally in US (Nvidia), was down 13.59% this week.

On the other hand macro indicators like Gold and Dollar Index continue to advance. Gold ended the week up by another 2% at USD 2391.77/OZ and Dollar Index is back above its 105. US bond yields too continue to hold up at above 4.62% for 10Yr.

Against this backdrop, the resilience in Indian market continues to shine. Our resilience so far has been protected by the earnings growth. If we do miss even a single quarter of this growth, chances are the market will correct.

Probability of such a fall seems low as ongoing capex both by public and private sector is chugging our economy at an incredible GDP growth rate of 7%+.

Speaking of earnings growth, below are the few good ones that were declared this week.

As represented above, a wide variety of companies continue to display healthy bottom as well as topline growth.

Finally, to answer your question - what am I doing with my portfolio in this trouble brewing macro environment?
